Welcome to our Growing In God website, which we pray will be an encouragement to you.

 Who are we, and what 
 are we trying to do?

 The purpose of this endeavor is
      to encourage people, young and
 older alike, to live all out for 
Christ.  This is done by exhorting
 them to "search the Scriptures," 
and be "doers of the Word" which 
will alter the course of their lives, 
changing them to become more 
and more pleasing in the sight of God.

The present facilitators are 
Matthew Smith, Rebekah Dryer, 
and James Hawkins. Their goal, 
as fellow pilgrims on the path of life,
 is to encourage you, as a reader, 
and your walk with Christ. "For we 
must all appear before the judgment 
seat of Christ, so that each one may
 be recompensed for his deeds in the
 body, according to what he has done,
 whether good or bad." - 2 Cor. 5:10

2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

 Let's face it, every true Christian wants his life to count for eternity. Most of us, however, could do a lot better job at pursuing this goal on a daily basis. Our work, studies, projects, and activities so often crowd out our active abiding and growing in Christ. 

So Christian, let's get more purposeful TODAY about the practicing the spiritual disciplines of the Christian life and living to the hilt for our Lord Jesus Christ. 

 "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth."
